The Depth Background Eraser application offers a feature that allows users to remove backgrounds from Portrait mode photos taken with dual-camera iPhones, such as iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8 Plus, or iPhone X. By utilizing the depth information embedded in the image, users can swiftly eliminate the background using a straightforward slider adjustment.

The app permits users to preview the edited image free of charge. Upon satisfaction with the results, users have the option to purchase an upgrade for exporting the finalized image in PNG format with transparent background. This enables users to seamlessly integrate the image into various image editing applications for further enhancements and creative manipulations.

For optimal outcomes, users are encouraged to work with images captured under bright lighting conditions, preferably in outdoor daylight settings. It is advised to frame photos in a way that the ground is not immediately visible beneath the main subject intended for isolation.
